The “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” book is a phenomenon that rocked young girls’ hearts across America. The book is written by the author who is named Jenny Han. The book has two sequels named, “P.S. I Still Love You,” and, “Always and Forever, Lara Jean.” “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and the two sequels became movies for the Netflix television streaming service. The books and movies are wildly popular.

Lara Jean Covey is the Asian-American main character of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” book and movie franchise. The actress named Lana Condor plays Lara Jean Covey. Kitty Song Covey is Lara Jean’s sister. She is played by Anna Cathcart.

Kitty Song Covey is the star of a new television show based off of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” books and its movies. The new television show is named, “XO, Kitty.” Cathcart is again Kitty Song Covey in this new half-hour comedy show.

Jenny Han is thrilled about the new television show. She says that this television show is filled with, “many stories that I may have written if I were to continue with the books.”

Jenny Han wrote the pilot for the new television series. She is also one of the new television show’s show-runners.

This is what Han had to say: “The show revolves around the teen matchmaker named Kitty Song Covey. Kitty Song Covey is a bystander. She watches as Lara Jean attempts to travel halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend who is named Peter Kavinsky.”

The other show-runner of this new television show who works alongside Jenny Han is Sascha Rothchild. Sasha Rothchild is responsible for the other wildly popular television shows like, “The Bold Type,” “The Babysitters Club,” and, finally, “GLOW.”

The actors and actresses who are set to be in this new television show are as follows: Choi Min-Yeong, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Regan Aliyah, Yunjin Kim, Jocelyn Shelfo, Michael K. Lee, and Peter Thurnwald.

There are no plans for Lana Condor and Noah Centineo to be in this new television show. However, Lana Condor only has good thoughts for Anna Cathcart.

Lana Condor posted on Twitter: “I am very excited for Anna Cathcart, who plays Kitty. It is kind of her turn now to fall in love and to have new experiences. I am very excited for her. I think she is very ready and capable to do so.”

There is no official release date for the new television show. However, the first season of the comedy show will have 10-half hour episodes.

I love the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” book series and its movies. The “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” book and movies are some of my favorites. I am thrilled to hear about this.

I can not wait to see “XO, Kitty” when it is released on Netflix.

Always with infinite love,

  1. I love the book and the movies. Lara Jean is one of my favorite characters. I wish that the new television show was about Lara Jean but I’m sure Kitty Covey will probably have a lot of things going on in her life that we can watch, too.

  2. This is great news. I think there’s a lot we don’t know about Kitty. I enjoy all of Jenny Han’s books. I’m glad she’s a showrunner who works behind the scenes for the movies.
